Cleveland Contractor Wins ACCA Training Award

CLEVELAND, OH — Energy Management Systems, Inc. (EMS) won the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA)’s “Excellence in Training” award at the 2002 Contractor Excellence Awards ceremony during ACCA’s annual conference in Kissimmee, FL.

EMS, an hvacr design/build contractor, offers a comprehensive service technician training program, originated in 1988 known as “Environmental Technician Training University” (ETTU). Through ETTU, the company develops its own candidates in-house from entry-level helper to certified hvacr service technician with the requisite technical skills and industry certification.

“Receiving ACCA’s Excellence award is a tribute to the hard work of all of the participants and instructors who have made ETTU work so well for us over the years,” said Alan J. Guzik, president and ceo.
