FORT WAYNE, Ind. - WaterFurnace Renewable Energy Inc. has announced its newest GeoStar distributor, CleanEnergy Developments Ltd of Calgary, Alberta. GeoStar is a brand of WaterFurnace, a manufacturer of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional geoexchange and water source heat pumps.
CleanEnergy, part of Alter NRG Corp., works with homeowners and residential and commercial developers to help them integrate geoexchange systems into their projects. The agreement with WaterFurnace provides CleanEnergy with exclusive distribution rights for GeoStar products in British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the vast majority of Ontario.
Within these territories, CleanEnergy has 55 dealers who will gain the broader product offerings that come from this agreement to distribute the GeoStar line. CleanEnergy handles all aspects of a geoexchange project from feasibility and conceptual analysis to design, installation, and commissioning.
“We are excited that CleanEnergy has developed a solid geoexchange distribution channel within Canada, and together with the GeoStar line they will be able to target additional markets providing greater energy savings for all Canadians,” said John Preston, director of distributor sales for WaterFurnace.
“We believe WaterFurnace Renewable Energy is the leading manufacturer of geoexchange product within North America and we are pleased to expand our geographic coverage with their product,” stated Mark Montemurro, president and CEO of Alter NRG. “The GeoStar heat pumps are among the best in the market and will provide our dealer network, residential customers, and commercial customers with a consistent high-quality product across a broad geographic region.”
