COURSE TITLE: Radiant Solutions - Fundamentals Workshop


DATE: Jan. 7-9, 2009

LOCATION: Apple Valley, Minn.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed for contractors looking to develop their understanding of radiant system design, operation, and application. Participants will gain an understanding of the key elements of radiant floor heating systems, including radiant heat delivery fundamentals, advanced installation techniques, installation materials, zoning and loop balancing, radiant-specific heat loss, heating plant options, heating plant piping strategies, and radiant system control strategies.

COURSE TITLE: EPA Refrigeration Technician Certification Course and Exam

SPONSORING ORGANIZATION: Texas Engineering Extension Service

DATE: Jan. 9, 2009

LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The class prepares attendees for the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) approved Core, Type I, Type II, and Type III Refrigerant Recovery Certification Exams. It reviews the requirements set forth by the EPA Code of Federal Regulations as prescribed under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act as it relates to refrigerant recovery/recycling of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The course is conducted, and then the test is administered the same day, immediately after the class is finished.
