PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Nortek Inc. appointed Eric Roberts as
president of Nortek’s CES Group Inc. Roberts succeeds David Huntley, who has
retired as the leader of Nortek’s custom commercial HVAC business, a major
segment of the international company’s portfolio. Roberts joined the company
July 21, 2008.
“Eric brings to the CES Group a solid, proven track record of driving outstanding results in the commercial HVAC business, most recently as COO of McQuay Americas,” said Richard Bready, chairman and CEO of Nortek. “Roberts has a managerial ability to grow a business through customer-focused leadership.”
Prior to 1997 when he joined McQuay, Roberts was director of marketing of the Mobile Business Group of Onan Corp., a division of Cummins Engine Co. He joined Cummins after graduation from Michigan State University with an economics degree and Yale University with an MBA.
The CES Group includes the custom commercial HVAC businesses of Nortek’s subsidiaries with manufacturing operations in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
