Certification Training Offered

PHOENIX - In order to prepare air conditioning professionals for the challenges presented by R-410A, American Refrigeration Supply is offering an R-410A training and certification program. It is important that service personnel understand the safe handling, proper charging, operating characteristics, proper applications, and general use of R-410A refrigerant.

The Universal R-410A Safety and Training manual provides service persons with the necessary training and practical knowledge to safely perform service on systems containing R-410A and R-407C. In addition, the manual includes information on the R-22 phaseout, appropriate refrigerant and oil applications, and service techniques, as well as safe handling of R-410A.

The Universal R-410A Safety and Training Interactive CD-ROM reviews the book chapter by chapter. Each category contains practice questions to help techs successfully prepare for their R-410A certification.

To prepare for the Universal R-410A Safety Certification, the company suggests reading the Universal R-410A Safety and Training Manual, viewing the Universal R-410A Safety and Training Interactive CD-ROM, or a combination of both.

Successful test takers will receive a wall certificate, a wallet-sized certification card, and an embroidered shoulder patch issued by the AC&R Safety Coalition and HVAC Excellence.
