ToughGard™ fiberglass duct board with the ToughGard durable air-stream surface is designed to be fabricated into return and supply duct-work for both residential and commercial applications. The duct board is designed for systems that operate at temperatures up to 250 degrees F and maximum internal pressures of 2 in. wg. It is designed to operate at air velocities of 5,000 fpm. Made out of resin-bonded glass fibers, the duct board can be fabricated into square, rectangular, or other multisided duct sections. It includes a foil laminate air barrier/vapor retarder that reduces the chance of condensation and the resulting chance of material and system damage caused by unwanted moisture, says the company.
