CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER

The company has expanded its line of top-mounted Model YB Millennium natural-gas, engine-driven centrifugal chillers with a 600-ton unit. The new model retains many of the components and features of the 800- to 2,000-ton YG side-mounted systems and the reduced footprint, lower installation cost, and shorter lead times of the smaller 400-ton YB top-mounted model, says the manufacturer. The 600-ton model is powered by a Caterpillar natural-gas engine and utilizes a single-stage centrifugal compressor.
