The Classic® outdoor wood furnace offers a dual-fuel option. This model, Model CL5648, operates using the choice of wood, fuel oil, propane, or natural gas. The company states that this furnace heats multiple buildings with one furnace located outside. Features include a side access panel for electrical/plumbing hookup and a large-capacity firebox in a choice of heavy-gauge steel or titanium-enhanced stainless steel. This unit provides up to 250,000 Btu when using propane or natural gas, and up to 420,000 Btu when using fuel oil. According to the company, the Ripple Top® and Heat Lock Baffle™ system optimizes combustion and heat transfer for maximum efficiency and low wood consumption.
