Carrier Southern California Sales and Distribution Territory Expands

Carrier’s Southern California Sales and Distribution has been recognized by the company for outstanding achievement, especially in regard to facility expansions like the new one shown here in Brea, Calif.

FARMINGTON, Conn. - Carrier Southern California Sales and Distribution (CSD Southern California) was recently recognized by Carrier Corp. President Geraud Darnis with a 2007 President’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. The Residential and Light Commercial Systems’ (RLCS) company-operated sales and distribution business achieved this recognition for delivering a fully operational Southern California distribution organization from the ground up in 15 weeks - a history-making event for both CSD and Carrier.

“This would not have been possible without the significant contributions and support of CSD employees across all regions,” said David Meyers, CSD president. “This success is yet another testament to their outstanding talent, expertise and capabilities, which enable us time and again to utilize the collective strength of CSD to accomplish great things.”

Adding to the success of this region, CSD Southern California has expanded its network with three new Totaline locations, for a total of 23, and a new corporate headquarters. Currently in West Covina, the new CSD Southern California headquarters, which will house the company’s former Pomona warehouse, has moved to Brea, Calif.

“This expansion demonstrates our investment in the Southern California market,” said Liz Haggerty, vice president and general manager, CSD Southern California. “We constantly strive to deliver a convenient, full-service offering with strategically placed locations to best serve our dealers.”
