ATLANTA - Carrier Corp. participated in dedicating the Willis H. Carrier Engineering Library at the headquarters for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. Additionally, Automated Logic Corp., a subsidiary of Carrier, donated its Web CTRL® networked building automation system to provide a user interface for ASHRAE’s living lab, allowing researchers around the world to monitor its performance and extract data.

Featuring a portrait of Carrier Corp. founder Willis Carrier, the new 600-square-foot library houses rare books, including an autographed copy of Carrier’sModern Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation; early editions of publications written by other industry pioneers such as the Margaret Ingles’ biography on Carrier; a complete set of ASHRAE publications; and numerous conference proceedings.
