A new, industrial, direct gas-fired space heater is capable of achieving 160 degrees F maximum temperature rise with a discharge temperature of 160 degrees at 0 degrees outdoor air temperature, the company states. The 10:1 mixing induction ratio minimizes air temperature stratification and provides even temperatures throughout the building. The Blow-Thruâ„¢ design extends the life of critical components by placing the blower, motor, and controls out of the heated airstream for less maintenance and longer life, the manufacturer says. The unit has a heating capacity of 200,000 to 3,100,000 Btuh. The low-fire start ensures smooth and consistent main burner light-off without antiquated pilot ignition controls, states the manufacturer. Features include a low-voltage, hot-surface igniter and stainless steel burner and flame rod.
