Burke Engineering Company Named Luxaire Distributor

NORMAN, Okla. - Burke Engineering Company has been named a distributor of the Luxaire brand of heating and air conditioning equipment in California, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico.

Burke is a wholesale distributor of automatic controls for the HVAC industry. Founded in 1949, the company is headquartered in South El Monte, Calif. In addition to the El Monte location, Luxaire will supply products to branches in Anaheim, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Oakland, Ontario, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose, Santa Ana, and Van Nuys, Calif.; Denver, Colo.; Henderson and Las Vegas, Nev.; and Albuquerque, N.M. Each location will handle the complete line of Luxaire residential and commercial equipment up to 25 tons.

"Burke made the decision to carry the Luxaire product line for several reasons," explained Timothy R. Burke, director of corporate accounts at Burke. "The complete product offering available from Luxaire, spanning residential to commercial equipment, allows Burke Engineering Company to satisfy our long-time customer request to bring in a superior equipment line. In addition, Luxaire's partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation enables our company to make a positive contribution to the communities we serve and the future of some very deserving children. We look forward to working with Luxaire and the opportunity to expand our business further and satisfy all our customers' needs."

As a corporate sponsor of the national Make-A-Wish Foundation, Luxaire makes a minimum annual corporate contribution of $250,000. In addition, dollars raised by the company's combined sales efforts will support local Make-A-Wish chapters located in dealer markets.

According to Doug Widenmann, Luxaire brand marketing director, "We are pleased that a company like Burke Engineering, long recognized as a leader in the distribution of automatic controls for the HVAC industry, selected Luxaire to represent the company in its initial venture into the HVAC equipment business. We look forward to a prosperous relationship with Burke that will strengthen the Luxaire brand in western markets and encourage growth of the Luxaire dealer base."
