The OnGuard carbon monoxide (CO) detector and ventilation controller can sense rising CO levels and activate ventilation systems when needed to eliminate the hazard, says the company. If CO concentrations progress to an unsafe level, the unit also will sound an alarm. This microprocessor-controlled device has an electrochemical sensor and selectable alert set points. Features include external alarm contacts, low-voltage wiring, built-in self-test, and manual on-off fan switch. It is power loss fail-safe and is supplied with external leads for easy installation, the manufacturer states.
