Model 5400 universal auto changeover thermostat is part of the Premier family. It is designed for light commercial and residential applications. The thermostat is compatible with virtually all low-voltage, single- and multi-stage, gas or electric heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, with up to three stages of heating and two stages of cooling. Features include menu-driven installer and user setup modes supported by separate reset buttons; multilevel keypad lockout, which prevents accidental or undesired temperature or settings adjustment; and filter, UV, and pad life monitoring. The programmable independent fan and humidity control allows the installer to program the fan to run automatically based on time, setback period, or humidity level. The units are dual-powered; they can be operated by battery or hardwired.
