BPV Compliance Workshops Offered

Commercial contractors have been notified that the deadline for compliance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority's (TSSA's) Boilers and Pressure Vessels (BPV) regulations is June 30. To assist its members in compliance with the regulatory requirements, the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors of Canada (HRAC) and the TSSA will be holding regional half-day workshops on understanding and implementing the requirements of the BPV regulation.

Contractors and their employees will learn about their obligations as a commercial contractor, how HRAC can assist them in compliance, as well as the consequences of non-compliance.

The workshop's actual site locations are to be determined, but will be held in the following cities:

  • London, Ontario, June 6

  • Toronto, June 13

  • Barrie, Ontario, June 14 (date subject to change)

  • Hamilton, Ontario, June 15

  • Ottawa, June 20

  • Sudbury, Ontario, June 28

There is no fee to attend. Members must pre-register. No on-site registration will be accepted. For more information on the 1/2 day workshops, contact Glenda Mulligan at 800-267-2231, ext. 233, or e-mail gmulligan@hrai.ca.
