The PICCV Pressure Independent Characterized Control Valveâ„¢ maintains flow control regardless of pressure fluctuations, says the company. The PICCV is a two-way valve that supplies a specific flow for each degree of ball opening, regardless of system pressure fluctuations, the manufacturer states. It can be used to regulate flow through air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fancoil units, unit ventilators, and VAV reheat coils. A fully engineered valve and actuator package, the PICCV provides flow control over its entire operating range, from 0.5 to 60 gpm, the company says.
