The three-way Characterized Control Valve (CCV) now offers expanded range with higher Cv ratings, Cv ratings comparable to globe valves, and a more cost-effective alternative. The valve has a Cv range of 0.3 to 83, which, according to the company, complements the Cv range of the two-way CCV line and improves technical performance. The redesigned three-way valve ranges from 1-1/4 through 2 inches in size. There are five new Cv ratings in the three-way offering. The maximum differential pressure is 20 psi for typical applications; all redesigned models have characterizing discs. The valves have a pressure rating of 400-600 psi. They have a maximum noise level of 45 dBA. Several spring return actuator and nonspring return actuator models are available.
