Power Coil Clean™ uses Enviro-Gard™, an encapsulation control agent that regulates ammonium bifluoride to remove soils and deposits on evaporator coils, condenser coils, and other hvacr components. According to the company, this product is safe on all metals including aluminum, copper, sheet metal, and will not stain or bleach materials. It is not irritating to skin, and no special handling, ventilation, or clothing is required, states the manufacturer. Once the surfaces are cleaned, MicroBiocide®, an antimicrobial surface treatment product, can be used on the components, says the company.
