Atlanta Contractor Garners Safety Award From MCAA

ATLANTA, GA — A contractor from Atlanta was among those honored for its attention to safety by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).

Carrier Commercial Service took third place in Category 2 (firms with 50,000 to 100,000 workhours). Winners of the 2001 Safety Awards Program were announced at the MCAA annual convention in Boca Raton, FL.

The safety award is based on the contractor’s participation in a Safety Statistics and Awards Program, part of MCAA’s Safety Excellence Initiative. The awards are based on minimum lost workdays incidence rates in five workhour categories.
