MoreThe Air-Conditioning & Refrig-eration Institute (ARI) recently announced the passing candidates of the May 2000 Industry Competency Exams (ICE).
The 1,460 participants of the exam represented 138 different schools. Students and instructors were eligible to take any one of the three exams or one air-conditioning and heating exam and the commercial refrigeration exam.
Each exam contained 100 multiple-choice questions and 60% was passing on each exam.
Here are the latest results:
Light Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating: Score Distribution: 6-98 Passing Rate: 68%
Residential Air Conditioning and Heating: Score Distribution: 14-98 Passing Rate: 63%
Commercial Refrigeration: Score Distribution: 22-98 Passing Rate: 47%
