April 29, 2003: Bristol And Alessa Group Sign Distribution Agreement

BRISTOL, Va. — Bristol Compressors has announced an agreement with the Alessa Group of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, making the group the exclusive aftermarket distributor for Bristol’s compressor products throughout the Persian Gulf region. The agreement encompasses Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

Chris Robinson, director of international sales for Bristol, stated, “Bristol Compressors is extremely excited about this agreement with Alessa. Our relationship with Alessa is strong and longstanding. Bristol and Alessa share a commitment to provide a high level of service to our aftermarket customers and promoting the Bristol brand throughout the region.”

The Alessa Group will expand and strengthen an extensive aftermarket distribution network in the Gulf. With an installed base of over 15 million compressors in the Middle East, support for the aftermarket and service needs of Bristol customers is essential to future growth, says the company.
