FARMINGTON, Conn. - Carrier Corp. announced that Earth Day 2011 is bringing added savings on its highest efficiency home heating and air conditioning systems. United States and Canadian consumers can take advantage of an additional $100 in Earth Day Dollars in combination with the Carrier® Cool Choices™ promotion on the purchase of a complete high efficiency Carrier Infinity® System, providing a total incentive of up to $1,350.

Homeowners may qualify for the Earth Day Dollars plus Cool Choices rebate by purchasing qualifying Carrier equipment from April 22-30, 2011 from a participating Carrier Cool Choices dealer.

“The Infinity System uses up to 40 percent less energy when cooling, as compared to minimum efficiency equipment, for the benefit of homeowners and the environment alike. The Infinity System is designed to control temperatures, humidity and air quality while continually monitoring a home’s comfort levels and automatically adjusting for maximum efficiency and performance,” noted Chris Nelson, vice president sales and marketing, Carrier Residential and Commercial Systems.

“Carrier supports the relentless drive for energy efficiency on Earth Day and every day. Because of the reliability and longevity of Carrier systems, the energy efficiency of our products becomes part of our customers’ environmental footprint. This motivates us to design for the environment, creating products that consume fewer natural resources,” said John Mandyck, Carrier vice president for Sustainability & Environmental Strategies. “Our Earth Day Dollars program provides an additional incentive for consumers to purchase our highest efficiency systems.”
