The AM-220 and AM-240 are digital multimeters (DMMs). The AM-220 is ideal for most electrical measurements, while the AM-240 is perfect for HVAC applications, states the manufacturer. Both include AC/DC voltage up to 600V, AC/DC current up to 10A, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and duty cycle. The AM-240 includes temperature measurement with selectable temperature scale (Fahrenheit/Celsius). The DMMs have micro amps for sensor diagnosis. Other features include a diode test, audible continuity capabilities, and backlit LCD. The units provide data hold maximum, minimum, and relative measurements and auto and manual ranging. The auto power off can be disabled, the company says.
