American Standard Honors Illinois Distributor

TYLER, Texas — American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning, a business of American Standard Companies Inc., has announced Munch's Supply Company, New Lennox, Ill., as the winner of its Distributor of the Year and Pinnacle awards.

At a ceremony at the annual distributor meeting in Phoenix, Munch's Supply Company was one of the recipients of American Standard's 2002 Distributor of the Year award. Distributors were evaluated on sales volume, market share, participation in American Standard programs, field service reports, training for their dealers and staff, and business planning.

Munch's Supply Company also was awarded the Pinnacle award at the Global Parts Conference in Orlando, Fla. This award is given each year to one distributor throughout the country. The primary criterion for the award is sales vs. quota. In addition, a distributor can earn performance incentive points such as the purchase of select products, completion of various training programs, year over year purchases increase, and a 65 percent or better stock to non-stock ratio.

“American Standard prides itself on the quality of its dealer network, and we support our dealers to reach a level of excellence in the pursuit of total customer satisfaction,” said Paul Trotter, American Standard national sales manager. “Munch's Supply Company continually sets the gold standard that we look for in all of our distributors.

“They exceed our expectations as a premier heating and air conditioning professional through their commitment to delivering the highest quality of service to their customers.”
