AMCA International Meeting Update

CHICAGO - The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA) convened for its Midyear Meeting hosted by current AMCA President, Denis Labelle of T.A. Morrison & Co., and Gary Benson of Mechanovent Corp., chairman of the board. AMCA members attended the meeting, along with the board of directors, AMCA staff, and guests. Attending members arrived from various points around the United States as well as international members from Canada, Singapore, China, and the Netherlands.

The committee, division, council, and regional members met for three days to take care of general housekeeping and to revamp and refocus the AMCA Strategic Plan. Highlights of the future plan are to include sustaining AMCA’s positive financial position, modernization and international acceptance of the Certified Ratings Program (CRP), a new comprehensive plan for AMCA’s international structure, improving member satisfaction, and ROI for its members.

“The growth of the association, its programs, and the recognition of them in the global community is a direct indicator of future successes for AMCA International,” said Barbara Morrison, AMCA executive director.
