Allied Services Group Opens Predictive Maintenance School

LEBANON, Ohio - Allied Services Group (ASG), an engineering services firm, has opened the Allied Training Center, a predictive maintenance training school in Clinton, Ind.

The 12-week training program covers all aspects of predictive maintenance, and includes on-site experience at local industries, according to the Lebanon, Ohio-based company's president and COO John Schultz, CMRP.

"We couldn't be more excited about this project," said Schultz. "We saw a real need for a complete predictive maintenance training program in our industry, and this program is ideal for people who want to pursue a career in this exciting field."

Training will take place in a non-traditional building - the former Clinton High School gymnasium, built in 1936 and purchased by ASG last year. Renovations to the lower level of the gym were necessary to create several classrooms, where training will take place. The locker rooms and cafeteria on the lower level were also renovated and will once again be in full operation. The gym itself was refurbished and will be open to the public for recreational use.

ASG also purchased the former Clinton Nursing Home, and renovated it to serve as a dormitory for students of the three-month training program.

The program covers a variety of predictive maintenance topics, including vibration analysis, airborne ultrasound, infrared thermography, oil analysis, nondestructive testing, and root cause failure analysis.
