AirTight Mechanical of Charlotte, N.C., has been honored by the Humane Society of Charlotte for volunteerism. Co-Owners Greg and Connie Crumpton accepted the award on behalf of the company.

“We are very humbled by being recognized for our volunteerism. It is our goal each and every single day to serve our customers and give back to the community,” said Greg Crumpton.

Over the past year, the Crumpton’s and AirTight have donated many hours and over $6,000 worth of equipment to install appliances and air conditioning systems at the Humane Society. This donation has saved the organization approximately 500 man hours per year in cleaning and sanitizing, as well as provided an air conditioned environment for the animals, which is critical in the heat of the summer.

“Connie, Greg, and the entire AirTight team exemplify what it means to be generous, compassionate, and lovers of animals. They understand the importance of caring for those that have no voice and giving them the best possible life they can have,” said Donna Canzano of the Humane Society.
