The Clean-Pak pocket filter is designed for medium to high dust loading applications, specifically for office buildings, office complexes, and manufacturing facilities. It also can be used as a prefilter for health care applications. According to the manufacturer, the filter maintains full-pocket integrity, even under turbulent or high-resistance conditions, due to a microfine synthetic media and a high-strength sonic seal. Ribbons of polypropylene fabric are welded inside the pockets to create aerodynamic channels that allow air to flow smoothly, the company says. Clean-Pak headers and pocket retainers are made of galvanized steel. The filters are available in five efficiencies, from 40 percent to 45 percent MERV 10 to 90 percent to 95 percent MERV 14, with a variety of pocket lengths and counts.
