Ace Air Announces New Summer Charity Initiative

PHOENIX - Ace Air has announced the launch of Ace Air Cares, which will provide free air conditioning services for Phoenix-area charities during the hot summer months.

“Phoenix has so many great charities that support the community, we want to do our part in helping these organizations provide care and services to those in need,” said Tim Kerr, Ace Air director of operations.

The company noted that programs such as this could help prevent heat-related deaths and significantly reduce the mortality rates associated with weather conditions in Arizona. According to the Arizona Department of Health’s Status and Vital Statistics report released in March 2010, 95 percent of all deaths from heat exposure occurred during the months of May through September.

The Ace Air Cares charity initiative is dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations that assist families, women, children, and the elderly in regards to shelter, housing, job training, and other support services. The Ace Air Cares initiative is currently taking nominations from local charities that are seeking donations of HVAC unit replacement, repair services, and tune-ups.

“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to provide families with air conditioning this year,” said Jessica Feldman, Ace Air marketing coordinator. “The Ace Air Cares program will provide comfort to so many Valley families who otherwise could not afford air conditioning this summer.”

Local non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit donation requests by June 30. Community members are also encouraged to nominate their favorite local charity. For more information, contact Jessica Feldman at 602-266-5223 ext. 214 or email jessica.feldman@coolace.com.
