ACCA Welcomes New Members

ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) welcomed 20 new national members during the month of November. The following companies applied for and have been accepted into national membership of the association:

Advanced Heating & Cooling (Bremerton, WA); Brandon Heating & Air Conditioning (Silver Spring, MD); C&C HVAC (Maple Lake, MN); Classic Aire Care (Fenton, MO); Don Stevens, Inc. (Eagan, MN); Duncan Heating & Air Conditioning (Lubbock, TX); Edmunds Heating & Cooling (Elgin, IL); Heights Mechanical Company (St. Paul, MN); Hugee, Inc. (Landover, MD); Integrated Power Solutions (Hyle, TX); Joseph T. Fama, Inc. (Silver Spring, MD); Magnolia Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning (Washington, DC); Mechanical Design Systems (Clinton, MD); Oak Island Heating & Air Conditioning (Escondido, CA); R&F Heating & Air Conditioning (Glendora, CA); SE&M Constructors (Rocky Mount, SC); Slagle Mechanical Contractors (Sidney, OH); Stromberg Sheet Metal Works (Beltsville, MD); Sunn Corporation (Damascus, MD); and Wayco

Air Conditioning & Heating (Gaithersburg, MD).

“As ACCA moves toward a new federated structure in 2003, with the goal of ‘One ACCA’ at the national, state, and local level, we have to credit our 60 chapter affiliates around the country for their hard work in spreading the word about the value of ACCA membership,” said Paul T. Stacknecht, ACCA president and ceo. “In October, our national chairman, Larry Taylor of AirRite in Forth Worth, Texas, issued a challenge to contractors around the country and asked the ‘real HVACR industry’ to please stand up. These fine companies, and many others like them, are standing up as contractors who care about this industry and who recognize the importance of contractors speaking with one voice at all levels.”
