ACCA Raises Literacy Funds

SAN JOSE, Calif. - This year at the national Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) conference, members donated books and dollars to help Reading Is Fundamental Inc. (RIF).

Each year through community efforts and the National Book Program, RIF provides 16 million free, new books, as well as literacy resources, to 4.5 million children nationwide.

"RIF raises the standard of learning in this country for those who want to learn, but have limited resources," said Paul Stalknecht, president of ACCA. "That's why ACCA is happy to help extend our resources to help them out."

ACCA raised $1,280 for RIF. To learn more about the Reading Is Fundamental programs, visit www.rif.org.
