ABC Redesigns Careers Web Site

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Try Tools Web site, which highlights career opportunities in the construction industry, has been redesigned by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).

The site offers educational resources for elementary and high school students, as well as parents and teachers.

It also features a virtual jobsite tour, which allows students to view the construction site of a high-rise residential building, and learn about different stages of the building process.

For younger students, the Web site provides information on construction toys, books, and games. It offers parents and teachers ideas for construction-related activities, and access to educational materials. Among the items featured is the construction career path poster, which outlines ABC's concept of lifelong learning.

To access the site, go to www.trytools.org.
