The phosphorus-copper brazing alloy Siltron™ joins copper-to-copper and copper-to-brass alloys with a heavy-bright braze. The clean, bright-finished braze allows the operator to inspect work easily. Siltron can also serve as a silver solder; it brazes mild and stainless steels together, and steels to brasses and other copper alloys. It can be used with brazing flux or users can get Siltron rods flux-coated.
