ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Tecumseh Products Co. has kicked off its Big Chill² Condensing Unit Promotion. The company noted that the rewards program has garnered substantial support from its wholesalers. In comparison to last year’s promotion, wholesaler participation has increased over 200 percent.

Jeff Fordeck, vice president, sales and marketing, said, “Based on feedback received, we greatly enriched the contractor portion of this year’s promotion. Our wholesalers responded in kind and are not only participating in the promotion but they’re working closely with our sales and marketing teams to leverage the resources that we have available.” Fordeck added, “We’ve launched many new condensing unit platforms over the last year and our wholesalers recognize the benefit that the promotion provides in increasing product awareness.”

The promotion runs through Aug. 31, 2013. Contractors/installers who purchase any Tecumseh condensing unit and/or unit cooler from a participating U.S.-based authorized wholesaler earn points toward prizes including a Taylor Made® golf driver, Wenzel® camping equipment, and more.
