Webinar Examines Whole Home Performance

MALTA, N.Y. — Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) is sponsoring a “Crushing Your Competition as a Whole House Home Performance Contractor” webinar, 1 p.m. Sept. 19.

Attendees will learn how to increase margins and ratchet down call back rates while providing complete house solutions addressing comfort, health, and high utility use issues. Today’s customers are seeking solutions that go beyond heating and cooling including insulation, air-sealing, ventilation, and combustion safety. These skills will not only expand project work scope, but reduces seasonality, improves customer relationships, reduces emergency replacements, and increases referrals.

Topics will include the benefits of whole-home performance, whether or not to make the time and financial investment, how whole-home contracting fits a contractor’s core competency, and how BPI accreditation can boost a business model.

Speakers will include Mike Callahan, HVACR industry liaison, GreenHomes America; Jerry Unruh, president, ABC Cooling, San Jose, Calif.; and John Jones, national technical director, BPI.

There is no cost to participate. For more information, or to register, visit http://bit.ly/N5AWEH.
