Multipurpose water sensor AquaGuard AG-1250E is a high-amperage, solid state sensor, which contains no moving parts that could become clogged. The water sensor can be mounted directly on HVACR units, in a metal or plastic secondary drain pan, on floors, or even on a wall. It replaces most mechanical and hockey puck-styled water sensors currently available on the market today, claims the company. The sensor measures less than 1.4 by 2 inches (36 mm by 50 mm) for condensate management in any tight space. Features include a 5-A, 24-vac solid state sensor with water detection LED light; the switch can be normally open or normally closed; and normally open fourth wire for optional external alarm, digital controller, or energy management systems.
