Feb. 28, 2012: BidClerk’s New Contractor Edition Offers Detailed Construction Project Data

CHICAGO — BidClerk, a leader in providing construction project data to manufacturers, distributors, and contractors, has announced the release of its new Contractor Edition data service.

For contractors in search of new projects to bid on, as well as contact information for each job, BidClerk said its new Contractor Edition offers detailed project data in a new website environment, accessed with subscription rates below those of other services. Users can try BidClerk for $5.95 for full national access to its project database for three days.

Contractors access BidClerk’s Contractor Edition through a web dashboard that the company says offers simple, intuitive, and fast access to national new-project data. (BidClerk’s Contractor Edition is also tied directly to LinkedIn for social networking.) Contractor Edition also offers real-time job alerts through a CRM function that tracks projects, companies, and contacts, while allowing users to keep personalized records on specific jobs.

In addition, Contractor Edition also offers a bidder’s directory (distributed weekly via email to key decision makers), which is a list of BidClerk subscribers that fit the needs of new projects. Contractor Edition’s premium Pro Package offers even more detailed project data, where contractors can access and download project plans and specifications.
