PULASKI, N.Y. — Fulton, a global manufacturer of steam, hydronic, and thermal fluid heat transfer products and provider of energy management solutions, has entered the global water tube boiler market.

Spearheaded by Fulton’s newest subsidiary, Shanghai Fulton Engineering Co., Fulton said it can now supply water tube boilers up to 100 ton/hr of steam (6,000 bhp). The Fulton water tube boilers are said to feature state-of-the-art membrane wall welding technology.

“This is a major growth opportunity,” said Bram Palm, CEO for the Fulton Companies. “We are extremely proud of this development and how it fits with Fulton’s future.”

Fulton said its entry into the water tube market not only broadens customer options, it provides customers with access to water tube boilers backed by years of experience, strong applications engineering, and reliable aftermarket support.

Applications for the water tube boiler include large multinational food processing companies, chemical companies, and power generation plants. The capabilities of industrial water tube boilers are also used in the waste heat recovery market for power plants and large factories.

Fulton China has approvals for boilers to meet the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), China A Class, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) (United States) for code acceptance.
