The NEWS Declares Contest Winners
TROY, Mich. — The activities have come to an end on The NEWS’ 2011 Dealer Design product microsite. The product giveaway is over, and the Readers’ Choice bracket competition has crowned a winner.
Lee Leynes is the final winner of The NEWS’ 2011 Dealer Design Product Giveaway. He is the owner of Lee’s Maintenance Plus LLC just outside of Tallahassee, Fla.
“I have been in business for three years and when I saw this contest I entered it to try my luck,” he said. “I am looking forward to trying this product to see if I can save my customers some money.”
Leynes won a complete condensate management system from Resource Conservation Technologies (RCT). The company is providing him with a Titan Secondary Condensate pan 26-by-26 inches or larger, an AquaGuard® Magnetic Float Switch System, and his choice of either the Goliath 4-inch or 7-inch high Furnace Risers.
The people have spoken and the Emerson® Blue™ Easy Set™ Thermostat was chosen as the 2011 Readers’ Choice award winner. After making it through multiple rounds of head-to-head competitions, this product received the most votes in the final round.
Easy Set non-programmable thermostats feature three temperature pre-set buttons — home, sleep, and away. According to the company, the non-programmable thermostats with three temperature pre-sets can be a good up-sell as well as helping to expand contractors’ product offerings. It includes a unique sleep-timer with sleep mode.
