Nov. 16, 2011: Watts Water Technologies Appoints New President of North America

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Watts Water Technologies Inc. announced that Srinivas K. Bagepalli has joined the company as president of North America.

From 2006 to September 2011, Bagepalli was president and general manager of three global companies within Danaher Corp.’s Industrial Technologies Group, including Setra Systems Inc., Sonix Inc., and Portescap. During his time with Danaher, Bagepalli also served as the president of Sensors & Controls, Asia. Prior to that, Bagepalli worked for General Electric Co. from 1994 to 2006. While with General Electric, he served as the executive vice president and segment manager at GE Infrastructure Sensing and Inspection Technologies from 2003 to 2006, manager, mergers and acquisitions at GE Industrial Systems from 2001 to 2003, manager, business development: strategy and growth at GE Corporate from 2000 to 2001 and process integration & manufacturing group leader at GE Corporate Technology Center from 1994 to 1999.

David J. Coghlan, president and chief executive officer, said, “We are very pleased to add to our team someone with Srinivas’ leadership skills and proven record of success in delivering sustainable growth, improving profitability and increasing cash flow. We believe that Srinivas will be a valuable asset to our company in continuing to grow and expand our business in North America.”

Watts Water Technologies brands include: Watts, which manufactures flow control products for the water quality, residential plumbing and heating, commercial, and OEM markets; Watts Radiant, which offers hydronic and electrical radiant heating, turf warming and snow melting systems for residential and commercial applications; and Mueller Steam Specialty, which manufactures a line of pipeline strainers, butterfly valves, plug valves, and check valves.
