The CM100 is a compact-size meter for measuring and displaying the presence and level of carbon monoxide (CO). The meter displays the CO level on its digital display. The user can set the meter’s alarm to alert when a CO level goes beyond a predetermined safety level; the user can adjust the alarm level by choosing one of the following gas levels: 25, 30, 35, 45, 50, 70, 100, and 200 parts per million (ppm). The meter’s accuracy is ±20 percent of reading at 0-100 ppm, ±15 percent of reading at 100-500 ppm (at 20 ±5°C and 50 ±20 percent rh). Features include a dual digital display, a backlight for viewing in dimly lit areas, auto power off, and a self-test feature. The CO meter comes with a battery, carrying case, and user manual. The user manual has a chart of published safety levels for CO. The battery has a life of 250 hours without the use of the backlight, and 35 hours with use of the backlight.
