The Insitu® is a spray application, water-based, synthetic, on-site corrosion-resistant coating designed for use on heat transfer coils and unit cabinetry. It was developed for users who can’t afford the operational downtime for factory-applied coatings from the OEM, yet still need corrosion protection for coils and cabinets. According to the manufacturer, all coated coil surfaces are easier to clean, which relates directly to energy savings as well as enhanced corrosion protection. The coating has a high chemical resistance, is UV-resistant, and has a fast drying time.
