Three Web-based wireless work order management software modules are offered to businesses with field services operations. Work Order Connect is an entry-level solution designed to replace a field technician’s clipboard and paper-based work orders with computer-generated forms that appear in real-time on a wireless handheld as well as a desktop computer. Work Force Connect includes the functionality of Work Order Manager plus features that allow companies to automate all of their mobile service operations from the initial service request through invoicing, including scheduled and preventive maintenance. Field Service Connect is an advanced solution that integrates directly with a customer’s billing, contract, and inventory management systems. It offers features such as wireless inventory, contract, project, and document management. The software can be deployed via a wireless download to Unicel-powered devices such as the Palm Treo and Motorola V197.
