WILMINGTON, Del. — DuPont announced that it has increased its capacity for Suva® R-134a at its Corpus Christi, Texas plant, to help meet increasing market demand. The company also plans to increase capacity further by the end of the year, for a total increase of 5%.

“We have been operating at maximum capability, and will continue to do so to assist in meeting the needs of this market,” said Mark Baunchalk, global business manager — refrigerants.

The company also manufactures HFC-134a in Chiba, Japan, through its Mitsui-DuPont Fluorochemicals joint venture.
