EDISON, N.J. — Dome-Tech Group, a provider of commissioning, field engineering, and energy consulting services in the New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania area, has announced the addition of Ronald J. Wilkinson, P.E., as vice president of operations for Dome-Tech Commissioning Services. Focused on energy conservation and indoor environmental quality, Dome-Tech is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and has several LEEDTM accredited professionals.

“Dome-Tech has the most skilled and qualified in-house testing and verification staff that I have ever seen,” stated Wilkinson. “As our buildings become more and more complex, the thorough testing of indoor environmental systems is a must for optimal working and learning performance. Dome-Tech has the design and field engineering personnel to take facility quality assurance from planning through construction and into occupancy. The Dome-Tech process makes sure things are done right the first time.”

Wilkinson is a nationally published author and speaker on commissioning quality assurance procedures. He is an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer and regularly speaks at the annual National Conference on Building Commissioning. He is co-chair of the Commissioning Guideline Committee of the National Association of State Facilities Administrators, which published its Building Commissioning Recommended Guidelines in April 2003.

“Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Dome-Tech team,” said Bruce Curtis, vice president of the Dome-Tech Group. “The commissioning industry is still in its infancy in New Jersey. Ron’s understanding of commissioning practices and procedures coupled with our certified energy managers and veteran field engineers put Dome-Tech in a position to set a new standard for excellence in the Northeast.”

Dome-Tech’s five operating groups specialize in optimizing building systems, implementing new energy technologies, and developing training and maintenance programs. The company services clients in the pharmaceutical, K-12, institutional, health care, and commercial markets. For more information, visit www.dome-tech.com or call 732-661-0144.
