Zone Control Damper

Green zone control dampers are powered normally open or normally closed 24 vac with an 88-pound torque motor; there is no wasted energy by springs to overcome or to be held open. According to the manufacturer, the unique gasket moves with the blade and will never dry out while maintaining control of the airflow with less than 1 percent air leakage. The dampers are available in various sizes: 6-16 inches (round) and 8- by 8-inches up to 12- by 24-inches (rectangular); oval, duct tubes, and retrofit styles are available upon request. They can be controlled by any regular on-off, heat-cool thermostat or building maintenance instrument unit. The dampers come with an open and closed end switch to give signals to the HVAC equipment. They are available with power-open/power-close, power-open/spring-close, Belimo, and Gladiola modulating motors. The dampers come with a three-year guarantee on parts and components.
