The CDB belt drive downblast exhaust fans provide quiet operation within a weather-resistant spun aluminum housing. The fans are ideally suited for roof- or wall-mounted applications, said the company. They can be used to exhaust heat and humidity from attics, storage rooms, and other areas, and allow clean, fresh air in from the outdoors. Available in single- and three-phase voltages, the fans have a 110°F maximum temperature rating. They have belt drive capacities up to 17,650 cubic feet per minute. The variable pitch motor pulley allows for field adjustment and system balancing. The fans offer a fully ventilated motor cooling compartment for long motor life. Features include a disconnect switch; backward inclined, nonoverloading wheels; aluminum blades and inlets; and quick-release latches for easy access to the motor compartment.
