ARLINGTON, Va. — Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced the formation of a local chapter in the Amarillo, Texas, area. The group, known as ACCA High Plains, is led by President Paul Grizzle of Grizzle Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., Canyon, Texas. ACCA High Plains is the ninth local ACCA chapter in Texas.

“ACCA at all levels will benefit from the formation of the High Plains Chapter of ACCA,” said Todd McAlister, executive director of ACCA Texas, the state affiliate for the recently formed local group. “The contractors in the Texas Panhandle deserve to have the best, and ACCA brings that to them. We look forward to helping the HVACR industry in the Greater Amarillo area in many ways, including new training opportunities and legislative advocacy. We can’t say enough about what a pleasure it has been to have such a committed group of professional contractors come aboard the ACCA ship.”

In addition to Grizzle, officers for the new organization are Paul Tucker, Tucker A/C and Heating, Amarillo, Texas, as vice president and Brian Winkelman of Winkelman Heating and Air in Dumas, Texas, as secretary/treasurer.

According to Kimya Bailey Cajchun, ACCA director of Membership & Federation Relations, ACCA High Plains is an example of the grassroots network that contributes to the true value of the ACCA Federation.
