MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee® Electric Tool Corp. has created a new business unit dedicated to launching productivity and enhancing solutions in the Test and Measurement category. New products will launch in July, strategically targeting Milwaukee’s core end-users with a focus on HVACR technicians and electricians.

The first wave of the new Test and Measurement line includes innovative alkaline products, and applies Milwaukee’s lithium-ion technology to deliver additional tools on the growing M12 cordless platform. The company will continue to develop this category as they move forward in their corporate commitment to become a leader in the Test and Measurement category.

Products in the line that are based on disposable alkaline batteries include the Voltage Detector with Work Light, Fork Meters, Laser Temp-Gun™ Thermometer, Digital Multimeter, and Clamp Meters. Rechargeable M12 cordless products in the line include the Sub-Scanner™ Detection Tool, Laser Temp-Gun™ Thermometers, and Clamp-Gun™ Clamp Meters. Many of the units come in two separate models with distinct feature sets specifically tailored to the needs of the HVACR technician and electrician.
