BOSTON — Schneider Electric announced that it has completed the corporate brand migration with its TAC unit, renaming TAC the Buildings Business of Schneider Electric.

“This brand migration is more than just a name change; this is a new way of approaching our energy management business and customers’ needs,” said Chris Curtis, president and CEO of Schneider Electric’s Buildings Business. “Establishing the Buildings Business as the center for one of Schneider Electric’s core competencies is a major companywide initiative. We can now take multiple solutions from our comprehensive portfolio through one seamless customer interface to become a single-source energy management provider.”

The company said that, while customers can expect a variety of new solutions and opportunities, some things will not change. “The trusted relationships customers have come to expect from our employees will remain the same, and we will continue to deliver the highest level of expertise, products, and services our customers have come to rely on,” said Curtis.
